This 30-second clip is from the 3-D film that was created to support Michael Jackson’s performance of “Earth Song.” The song has a strong theme about the future of the planet, and Jackson saw it as a unique opportunity to deliver a message to millions of people who would have seen him on tour. The MJ tribute performance on the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards will feature this 3-D film, which has never before been seen by the public in its entirety. CBS and Target have partnered to provide millions of free glasses so that fans can enjoy this unique viewing experience from home. From Sunday, Jan. 24, through Sunday, Jan. 31, Target stores nationwide will exclusively offer these 3-D GRAMMY Glasses so that fans have the opportunity to see the film that was very personal to Jackson.

Here is the latest leak to come from Christina Milian’s ill-fated “Elope” album. This song has a sexy futuristic feel that im actually liking. This track was produced by Tricky Stewart, and written and co-produced by her husband Terius “The Dream” Nash. Let me know if your feeing this one!!!

Brooklyn’s Finest is a crime film starring Don Cheadle, Richard Gere, and Ethan Hawke. The movie was directed by Antoine Fuqua, who also directed Training Day; which is another the gritty film that delved into the realm of cops and criminals. It was written by Michael C. Martin, who previously was a MTA subway flagger from East New York. In a recent interview with the NY Times, Martin said “I didn’t expect ‘Brooklyn’s Finest’ to get made. It wasn’t Hollywood overnight. It was, ‘I’m still working my 9 to 5, and I’m still writing, and I’m still trying to make my dream happen.” The full cast includes: Richard Gere, Ethan Hawke, Don Cheadle, Vincent D’Onofrio, Wesley Snipes, Nicoye Banks, Jesse Williams, Ellen Barkin, Lili Taylor, and Jerry Speziale.

Tango (played by Don Cheadle) is an undercover officer on a narcotics detail that forces him to choose between duty and friendship. Having been to hell and back, he wants out, but the powers that be won’t let him quit. Family-man Sal (played by Ethan Hawke) is a detective tempted by greed and corruption. He can barely make ends meet, and now his wife has an illness that threatens the life of their unborn twins. Eddie (played by Jesse Williams) is nearing retirement age and has long since lost his dedication to his job as a cop. He wakes up every morning trying to come up with a reason to go on living… and he can’t think of one. Fate brings the three men to the same Brooklyn housing project as each takes the law into his own hands. Crosscutting between multiple subplots, Brooklyn’s Finest unfolds violently and passionately as coiled, constantly roving cinematography contributes a measure of unease to the underworld action.

If this tickles your fancy you might want to checkout Righteous Kill. It is a crime film directed by Jon Avnet, and stars Robert De Niro and Al Pacino I saw the preview for it when I was upgrading my DirectTV Service. I’m pretty sure it hit Direct TV by now. It’s about two New York police detectives who are working on taking down a drug-dealing club owner called “Spider,” who is played by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. There is also a couple of other crime thrillers that hit TV by now. To all my aspiring “movie buffs,” go get one of them Satellite Directv Deals. Im pretty sure you can find 1 out of all the Direct TV Satellite Packages they offer.

From television and radio, to magazine covers and the internet, you can find this girl everywhere. Lady Gaga, in my opinion, is the true definition of a Pop Star. Gaga has taken the world by storm… Similar to a young Madonna, but no where near as sexy! In just the little time Gaga has risen to FAME, she has a brought not only a slew of number 1 records; but a much needed spark to the struggling music industry.

With that said, here is some footage of Lady Gaga performing at the Detroit leg of her Monster Ball Tour (1-12-10). She performs all her songs, which are also all chart toppers, at the famous Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. Judging by this footage, her performances are just as stunning and innovative as her highly talked about music videos. From the crazy stage effects, to the crazy outfits; her performance looked like scenes from The Lion King Musical at the Minskoff Theatre… mixed with the Wicked Musical at the Ford Center For The Performing Arts… and this is the KEY to her SUCCESS!!! Gaga’s eccentric personality and unconventional approach to composing music has really set her apart from her contemporaries, and has captured the publics interest in a way that no other artist/act has done in quite some time…

Concert Synopsis:

The show started with a video of Gaga floating in water. Then she appeared behind a giant, green, laser lit video screen featuring scrim lights, in a futuristic silver jeweled jumpsuit with bulbs on it, with matching eye makeup and mask, singing the song “Dance in the Dark” from The Fame Monster, while dancers dressed in white balaclavas and white jumpsuits moved around her. The scrim resembled an electric math grid which was lifted during the performance. After the song she strapped on a portable silver jewelled keyboard and started performing “Just Dance” while inside a white cube from which she emerged from the top, and the video screen came up. She was raised on a platform with a keytar over her shoulder as eight dancers in white bodysuits locked into step below her. This was followed by a brief video intermission and Gaga returned with an elaborate off-white costume that resembled an alien ecto-skeleton. She started performing “LoveGame” which ended with Gaga pointing towards her groins. A digital background of flames was featured with the dancers wearing skeletal headgear. As she got out of her ecto-skeleton outfit, she stripped down to a silver bodysuit for another The Fame Monster song, “Alejandro”, which saw her being carried by her crotch by one of her male dancers and lowered onto another male dancer…

Kick-Ass is an upcoming superhero film based on the comic book of the same tittle by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr. The film is a twisted, funny, and high-octane adventure movie that was directed by Matthew Vaughn.

Kick-Ass tells the story of an average teenage boy, Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), who is an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan with a few friends and who lives alone with his father. His life is not very difficult and his personal trials not that overwhelming. However, one day he makes the simple decision to become a super-hero even though he has no powers or training.

It is a superhero film directed by Peter Berg and starring Will Smith, Jason Bateman, and Charlize Theron. I saw the preview for it when I was upgrading my DirectTV Service. I’m pretty sure it hit Direct TV by now. It’s about a vigilante superhero, John Hancock, played by Smith, from Los Angeles whose reckless actions routinely cost the city millions of dollars. Eventually one person he saves, Ray Embrey, played by Bateman, makes it his mission to change Hancock’s public image for the better. There is also a couple of other superhero adventure movies like G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and Hellboy II: The Golden Army, that hit TV by now. To all my aspiring “movie buffs,” go get one of them Directv deals and get the popcorn ready.

The conference will feature panels covering copyrights, publishing, label structure, and recording techniques while showcasing artistic talent during The Chop Shop battle and Sound Clash event.
